Baytril prescriptions for rabbits have only ever costed me 15-30 euro. So that 450 is definitely coming from somewhere else, and seems extremely unlikely it’s from even mostly or even part baytril. When I took Bun Jovi recently for a urinalysis and X-ray, I think it was around 680? So the total doesn’t seem that crazy to me, but that price for Baytril is really high!

The vet suggested getting a second opinion from a more experienced rabbit savvy vet might not go astray. I know Baytril isn’t cheap, but $450 for one bottle (what size is it?) Is absurd. Is it the same vet you got the cyst removed at? Do you still have the receipt? If so take both receipts back in and show them the price difference. I’d be wanting some money back.

I had him for 7 months. He does eat from my hand and he would even climb on me from time to time.
