I know it’s awful for them. But also awful to witness for you. There definatley seems to be something going on when they are refusing hay and treats. I would ring your vet back and tell them it’s still going on.

jerseybunnies replied to the topic A question about when I should neuter him in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 5 years, 4 months ago
Some younger rabbits could seem a bit thin until they “broaden out”. I would just maybe increase his pellet amount a bit. Everything sounds good though, good luck with the neuter! 🙂

Thanks everyone.
I booked him for next week to get neutered. He’s very wild today and chasing the cat more than ever, i’m afraid he’ll annoy our cat too much so he swipes at him and they stop getting along. And he’s pooped more in my bed. He’s just a little thin even though he eats but if he’s too thin they’ll reject neutering him I hope.

Ok, i now it. But my problem is different. Every answer, an article, every topic I write requires moderator approval. Why?

Chainida replied to the topic Water fountains for rabbits in the forum DIET & CARE 5 years, 4 months ago
I use the Petsafe Drinkwell Butterfly fountain. I just got it yesterday and so far I really like it. It’s such a pain in the butt to change the bunnies water everyday because one of them is shedding. Both of my bunnies seem to like it and the fountain is low enough so they can reach it.

@prince dorian the bun : Oscar is shedding up a storm at the moment, he has explicitly forbidden me to take any pictures until he looks more presentable. 😆
Dorian’s curled up paw and pinned ears make it look like he’s ready to throw down. 😉 I doubt he could find anyone to get into a fight with though, they would just stand there and “aww”…[Read more]

Hazel replied to the topic How to make my rabbit sleep on my desk? in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 5 years, 4 months ago
If your rabbit panics and falls/jumps off the desk it can get seriously injured, and you will end up with a giant vet bill.
Please don’t try to force your rabbit into a potentially dangerous situation that it’s uncomfortable with.

The House Rabbit Society suggests 1 cup of veg per 2 pounds of bunny (2 pounds is roughly 1 kilo and one cup is almost 2.5 deciliters).
So you can probably give your bun more vegetables, but you should increase the amount slowly so his tummy doesnt get a shock.
Here is a link to what the House Rabbit Society says about vegetables for…[Read more]

Thank you! And could she still be eating less than usual?
She is happy about her food, acting normal but she is eating just not as much as before. And of course less poops then.
Is it still okay?:)

I understand, i give my bunny a handful of vegetables a day. Is this normal for 7 months old? Do you think i should increase it?

@Ert000 for a young bun just introduce slowly so you can see if any give him issue. If it’s only one it’s okay 🙂
I do 3 or more leafy greens & herbs a day, and then rotate so he gets at least 9 different ones a week. But my bunny is currently on a no pellet diet and this is what my vet recommends, he is all for trying to feed them what they…[Read more]

Today he ate his pellets and a little banana, but later in the day he refused his favorite treats again. I felt his belly and he did feel a little bloated and I have him more simethicone. He slept for most of the day, but he’s eating and drinking again. I’ll continue the small doses of simethicone to prevent the gas and give him some relief. I…[Read more]
