Rinse the lettuce in cold water. You can divide big leaves into smaller pieces (not super small). Some buns prefer the green part of the leaves over the white part, but both are fine to give.

Serve only what he’ll eat in one sitting, lettuce wilts quickly. Keep the head of lettuce in a bag in the fridge.

Thanks so much everyone. She started eating hay a couple days ago thankfully. If she goes off again it I’ll be taking her to a more rabbit savvy vet too.

A lot of flea/tick medication is much more toxic than it’s worth.

Do your research. Food grade diatomaceous earth spread over the area is probably a better option.

I’m pretty sure I hastened a couple dogs death by using flea/tick meds, so I’m extra cautious now.

I know I shouldn’t but I’m looking for another bunny to potentially bond Tater Tot with. My local rescue is doing everything remote now so I can’t take him in for playdates. I’m not too worried about this type of litter. In the 5+ years I’ve used it this is the first time this has happened. Just gotta be more diligent about cleaning I guess… sucks to feel like I can’t open windows anymore though.

Unfortunately it’s already summer here in Florida so flies of all kinds are out in full force. 🙃 Yaaaay

We have chat going, but I want to see those cute little bunnies!

And here is Dorian about to lift up his fencing and try to break in! He doesn’t get why he can’t be in my room while I work (he gets up to too much mischief). The fence was our compromise so he can hang out and see me.

Oh will have to remember the lavender idea! Not been an issue, but in the summer I do have times when the fruit flies are a tad abundant.

I meant to mention, I’ve noticed he’s been breathing a little louder at times for like 2 seconds and then he’s quiet again. I wonder if it’s the art art of a bacterial infection? He recently went through a lot of stress (moving). I’m just wondering if I need to see a vet ASAP
