I kind of see it like when cats knead things when they are happy, less of a marking it’s theirs but it just feels good/gives them comfort. Dorian is usually licks everything when he is happy and super relaxed,  often followed by flops.

Cookie was such a cute baby, but what a pretty bun now! Looks like they get up to all sorts of fun and mischief!

Fresno and Nora post their clipping ordeal are precious too! Speaking of I need to do that here soon… neither of us are looking forward to that.

I am emailing them right now. I don’t know much about how this rescue works with fosters and potential adopters. I do know that the house tour etc. is done via skype.

I didn’t think of that. This is a new shelter so I’ll ask them. The rescue I usually adopt from has temporarily shut down for renovations. I’ve had a few foster fails lol. It would be great to give a bun a place to land even if temporarily and if Tater likes them they can stay.

I’ve had more than one bun that couldn’t be bonded. They wanted all of the attention.

Yes, it seems like ID’ing their calls is key, because even if you can see them (at least for me) they are too far away to tell for sure. I have binoculars too but the foliage is getting too thick now.
