I think my landlord would actually kick me out if I adopted 3! She barely tolerates the thought of 2. Lol.

I’ve found that adopting or fostering helps me grieve easier knowing I am giving an animal a safe place to be whether permanently or while in transition.

Plovers are such gorgeous birds! <3

Things over here have been going well. 🙂 It’s so nice to see flowers and trees in bloom, with bees pollinating.

That is too funny. My Elmer likes music when he’s in the mood. This week he came under my desk while I had the speaker on, and he flopped 2x, purred like crazy and finally went into a deep sleep, full REM sleep with all the twitching 😆

This happens with dogs too, where sometimes they just aren’t that food motivated. The advice in those cases is to use a higher-reward treat, keep sessions much shorter, and to be sure to time them to when your bun is hungry.

Hmmm, I think you might want to weigh the pros and cons of the oats. If it seems like it’s really the oats that are making him not want his other food, then maybe the oats aren’t the best thing to give? I think I’d be more concerned with fiber and other nutrition over oats for the sake of weight gain.
