Thank you both.

I will defiantly call the vet on Monday. Just seems odd that this is all happening so soon after her Spay.

It has been postponed until the 22nd. I had a family emergency and couldn’t go this morning 😭

It’s hard to see in the picture, but the bluish tone looks like fur that it regrowing.

With it being close to her spay period, I wonder if there was a reaction to a blood draw or IV placed in that area of the ear. Blue/purple makes me think maybe there’s a bruise/hematoma developing  there now. I imagine her scratching it would likely exacerbate it (like rubbing a bruised/irritated area) a bit. It is customary to cut angora rabbits’ fur very short 3-4 times per year. It’s called harvesting, but angora rabbits actually wont be at all happy unless you harvest their fur regularly.

I’m sorry to hear that Remy has floppy bunny syndrome. From what I’ve read, yes it can be fatal but with supportive care rabbits can also make a full recovery.
