After you get this under control hopefully you’ll find treats that work for her without making her sick! My Wally still has issues but I only changed his diet Fri so he’ll be more time. I actually have him in a bonding pen so I’m allowing some romaine so the other 2 rabbits don’t have to suffer too much with him, but I’ll have to take that away…[Read more]

@LittleLionMan – Yes, I’m monitoring her closely! It definitely is hard taking our babies’ treats away. They’re way too cute to resist. By the way, she doesn’t have a poopy booty – she cleans herself regularly so I don’t have to interfere. Once in a while I’ll have to use a baby wipe, but not often. I’ll definitely keep you guys posted – keep me…[Read more]

I would continue to monitor at this point — I’m unclear what it is, but if it was a very small affected area and it seems healthy elsewhere, I wouldn’t be immediately concerned. I’d continue monitoring if skin condition worsens or spreads from the observed area you got these from.

@LittleLionMan – Here’s her litterbox. Her pellets are normally that color ♥

I’m more chiming in to help the more knowledgeable commenters. I know when I first looked at this I was looking at the whole bald spot as swelling — i just realized if you zoom in there’s a circular bulge on the right side of the patch, just below the middle -this is my attempt to recreate ( .| it’s like something is protruding undernea…[Read more]

Normal pooping and eating is good! I know it’s always hard taking away treats and the variety in their diet. My bunny has a bit of a sensitive tummy and has had bouts of gas and excess cecos/poopy but. We stick to romaine now because it’s just best for him, but he’s a treat fiend! Very hard to say now to our precious babies, especially when they…[Read more]

@Sonn – That’s so amazing ♥ But for real, I can’t imagine the cost of hiring divers constantly, though!

@LittleLionMan – Yes, she’s pooping okay. No diarrhea, mucus or anything just liquid cecotropes – I’m 100% sure. I’ll attach a picture…
@pinkiemarie – Thanks so much for the motivation! ♥ I’ve cut out her treats and veggies for now, and I’m going to see how it goes. I feel so guilty for taking away her treats and stuff, but I just really want…[Read more]

I also dont know how the infection advances. Should it have been worse by now? Because during this one month it has almost been the same, is that normal or should he have shown more symptoms if he had an infection?

Hey all,
I was grooming one of my rabbits and noticed 2 skin flakes on his skin, around his back/shoulders behind his ears. Did not see any more anywhere else on his body and his ears looked clear and clean. He had an annual check up last month, the only other health issue is that he has only 1 top incisor, so perhaps it is from him not being…[Read more]

The sneezing is about 1time every half an hour and it has been like that for the whole month, maybe the last week a little bit less. They also ray checked it two times and told me that it is completely healthy but im really getting anxious when i notice anything out of order. As for the lyeing down i think its normal because today he was very…[Read more]

It sounds like you have mostly sorted things out! Sorry just seeing this now.
Spaying/ neutering (for both buns) is very important for successful bonding, so the plan to get her spayed is a good one. Then you should wait at least 3-4 weeks for her hormones to settle. I agree that cage swapping is great, but I think waiting till after she’s healed…[Read more]

Is he always peeing on the floor in the same spot? Does he ever pee in his box?
When buns get older, they can start to get a bit lazy with box habits, so sometimes a box with lower sides can help.
I also just moved and it took Bun Jovi about a month to stop marking the room. He still has some occasional accidents, but he’s also 12 so I cut him a…[Read more]

I agree that he should go back to the vet (or a dif vet if you don’t trust your current one), that sounds like something that may not resolve on its own.
@Wick My understanding of “pocket pet” vet is vet that treats animals smaller than dogs and cats, so usually they are experienced with exotics. That doesn’t necessarily mean they are rabbit…[Read more]
