I’m in an area in the western US where the smoke is BAD right now, and every summer, and I haven’t noticed any abnormal fur problems nor have the 2 people I know with bunnies mentioned it either. I would definitely be more concerned with resperitory problems when the smoke is heavy.

Mine is also shedding right now and I’m not gonna lie I’m kinda freaking out a little. The most important thing it, don’t have him travel in cargo, he should travel in the cabin with you as a carry on. The noise down in cargo plus the temperature fluctuations could kill him.

No, he isn’t on meloxicam or anything. I will ask the vet about it, though, if the supplements end up causing more trouble than good.

Hiya! Hmm… that’s interesting. I’ve never had issues. My vet doesn’t shave too close and she doesn’t sedate either.

For the pen cover, I have a 3.5ft-high pen, and a queen-sized bed sheet, folded in half, was the perfect height for it.
