It’s normal for a bun to like scratching pillows and have little interest in toys. Edible toys might be an option, such as toys made of willow. Apple twigs are also often popular with buns.

And as for the activities I can’t seem to find anything else he likes to do, he only likes to scratch pillows, do you think this is normal? And do u have any suggestions as to what toys he might be interested in cause I just want to make sure he is happy.

Since bonding seems unlikely due to time, I would say you want to maximize your rabbits space and engagement opportunities in the dorm (but don’t just clog his pen with random toys as that cuts down on overall room!)

Ya sorry I probably meant 2 months. I would be leaving him in the dorm while I go to classes but many of my first term classes are online all except one. As for bonding him. I wouldn’t worry about repurchasing stuff. The likelihood that whatever bacteria caused the infection can survive on other surfaces outside a warm body is low, I feel. It is not typically recommended or even mentioned to dispose of things for respiratory infections.

It was very wise of you to go to the vet when you noticed the breathing sounds! Hopefully he’ll recover now with the Bactrim.

I dont think you need to do extra cleaning of his stuff.

Cookie is now using Bactrim. Normally, there was no sound from the lungs of Cookie, yesterday, when we heard such a sound for the first time, we immediately went to the vet in 10 minutes. His eyes also seem to have improved for now. I think a few days Cookie will be better. 😐

Now he’s going to start hating me again for drugging him. 😐

I’m sorry Cookie has a chest infection. Hopefully the oral antibiotics will help both the eyes and the chest.
