It would be the below zeolite/carbon mix. I’m not aware that there are other types, so that’s something new to me as well. I think it’s typically used in fish filter media? Which also makes me a bit waffly on whether or not it’s safe to use.

…I don’t understand why I’m ignored on every platform no matter what it is. No, I don’t want to hear “not everyone wants to reply to every thread” because it’s always /mine/ that rarely gets acknowledgement or support. I’m so done.

Bun-chan replied to the topic Bunny not eating: when to go to the vet? in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 4 years, 11 months ago
Thank you so much for your advice!
We did jump the gun and brought him to the emergency vet. At the clinic he acted completely fine, and then started getting agitated because we had to wait a long time (unfortunate cat with internal bleeding). We asked the nurse for some hay and he began eating furiously. We brought him home and he’s back to h…[Read more]

I’ve been using Oxbow hay and both of my rabbits love it. But I am currently finically struggling and am low on hay until I get paid on the 5th. I’m trying to find something that’ll supply them for roughly 2 days ( their hay should last them till tonight or tomorrow ). My options are: pellets ( timothy based ), alfalfa hay ( one is 7-8 months, the…[Read more]

My childhood dog would eat the grossest dead animals she could find, but if you offered her a piece of chicken breast she would act like you were trying to poison her! She would take it and sniff it for a good long while before deciding it was actually food. LOL

My observations my pairs “playing” together are zoomies, binkies, and working on “projects” together (chewing on the same toy). It’s actually pretty rare for me to see them zooming or binkying together though! Mostly they are just hanging out together.
Bunston would roll a small ball back to me if I rolled it to him (it was one of those little…[Read more]

Since Wick and Fable aren’t bonded, I can’t answer the question from personal experience unfortunately, haha. My understand is rabbits mainly express love and playfulness through cuddling and grooming… but. Unsure, and we can await other’s responses!
He might want a little chase, based on what you’re saying, in which case you can beat him to…[Read more]

First and foremost, I’m inquiring about a specific topic. As I am a very particular individual, please do not comment or make suggestions outside of the scope of my inquiry please! I’m not asking for advice about other, better, pet fountains or anything. I just want an answer to my stated inquiry below. Nothing more, nothing less.

Thanks @Wick & Fable! That video is too cute! We do that type of play, rearranging toys so that he has to put them in their proper place is an ongoing game. For a while he would bring me his ball, it was adorable, but he decided it was no longer cool. Occasionally we do a little game where I fluff his bunny bum and he runs from me and then runs…[Read more]

Rabbits don’t really ‘play’. My opinion is, although I will use the word ‘play’, I interpret it more as a rabbit expending its energy. I do “play time” with Fable, where she will pester me in the morning to be her toy holder: https://www.reddit.com/r/Rabbits/comments/pbsvjm/redirect_chewing_energy/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

Okay, for now I will leave him be, but if it happens again I am definitely going to take him to the vet to rule out the possibility of dental problems. Thank you to everyone for all of your input! I will keep you posted if there is any change, but for now my bun is back to his good ol’ self. Fingers crossed he stays that way🤞.

I have had Dorian for almost two years now, and we have most things figured out. But one I just not sure about still is how to play. How do bunnies play with each other? I will get on the ground with him and he gets all excited and we sort of try playing, but I always feel he is disappointed with me for getting it all wrong.
