Regardless of name, that is one adorable bun!

The bunny highlight of my month so far: Last weekend I woke up to a splashing sound and the rabbits tearing out of the bathroom. Got up to find Ruby wet and water splashed everywhere around the toilet… She had to have jumped all the in and back out 😆

The marker for parasites could be euosinophils, a type of white blood cells. It can indicate parasites or allergy.

You could also try making a more semi-neutral space by setting up a pen in a different location and covering the floor and pen walls with some sheets so a lot of the visual and some of the scent-cues are distorted enough to be unfamiliar?

You couldn’t set up a temporary pen somewhere? Or use the bathtub?

One thing that some members have had success with is to rub a towel on the new bun, and then rub it all over the original bun (and leave the towel for the original bun to sniff). I agree that trying for two bonded pairs as opposed to a quad may be less stressful for you and your buns, if you follow through with getting the rabbit.

There isn’t a need to stress over it but one my bunnies LOVE is kale if you want to try.

In my opinion, 19 hours isn’t long enough. Most people recommend at least 24 hours as an absolute minimum, and personally I usually aim for at least 48 hour of them acting fully bonded.

So I would go back to a neutral spot (could be a different neutral spot), and re-cement them.
