It’s not recommended. Many essential oils are not safe for rabbits as they can build up in their systems. Rabbits have very sensitive respiratory systems, so incense would likely be irritating to them.

I think if the incense was burned a while ago and the room had aired out (so just a faint smell remaining), that would probably be OK.

I agree with LBJ10, I would not give up yet or jump to extreme treatments just yet.

Most rabbits do better in the car than we expect them too. They usually just settle down and rest, especially if it’s freeway driving. You can put familiar smelling blankets in the carrier for her, and I think she will be just fine.

Does he eat plenty of hay? If so, then I agree with the others that it’s prob due to fur. If you notice he doesn’t eat that much hay (or his appetite for hay goes down), or you notice a lot of large pieces of unchewed hay in his poop I suggest getting his teeth checked.
