Your buns have hit puberty. Tvey must be separated now, and kept spart until a month after they both are neutered.
Separate them as soon as you can, becsuse the humping and fighting will get worse. If they get in a bad fight, it might not be possible to bond them after their neuter.
They should be kept apart so they cant reach each other,…[Read more]

I have two rabbits. One, according to the breeder, is five months and the other is four months. they’re both males and going to get neutered in about a month.
When we got the rabbits, i had instantly put them together in one pen without bonding, as i was unaware we were supposed to. they have everything they need, like water, food, hay, toys,…[Read more]

Yes, I think your instincts are right, mine are saying the same. Pancake is acting more normal the last couple days so I will try not to worry too much about her. It’s hard to know what they are feeling but I at least know she isn’t full on depressed. I think bonding with her will be helpful for us both I agree.
Also agree with what you said…[Read more]

It can take awhile for those to heal. I agree that it’s probably best to keep an eye to make sure it doesn’t get worse.

So, my instinct is that you (as a human) definitely deserve and need a break from bonding. Pancake will be fine, so try not to worry about her. I have been in your exact position and I know the feeling of just wanting to have them with a partner again, but you should definitely be kind to yourself and just rest. I think the time would be better…[Read more]

If its inside the ear, not on the surface of the skin, I still think it could be a hematoma after a broken blood vessel. Does she seem bothered by it? It doesnt look alarming, but obviously keep an eye.

Hi! If you’ve ever had two or more bonded rabbits, even if in the past, please vote in my poll: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bunnies/s/hhyVFa6W2e
The poll aims to learn how frequently rebonding is necessary. There is an option for “0” if you’ve never had to rebond. I haven’t gotten too many votes and would like some more data, which should be intere…[Read more]

I have a 7 month old lion head who just got ear mites. The vet treated him with Revolution and I had to give him ear drops twice a day. He had it in one ear.
if you look at my pictures of my rabbits ear then look at the title itchy ears.

Me again! So I thought I’d feel out my remaining 3 buns in a quick bonding session. I probably could have done a smaller area but put them on cleaned foam mats in a bedroom. I’m sure there are so many bunny smells in my house at this point. They were pretty much immediately aggressive. First. Maxwell bit Pancake’s nose like he used to do to…[Read more]

I suppose it could’ve been pinched, she is quite the curious explorer around the house. I first noticed it a couple weeks ago, would it still be there if it’s a broken blood vessel? Thanks for the reply

Did his ear get pinched? It does look like a broken blood vessel in the ear.

It looks like a small bleeding inside the ear? It doesn’t look bad.
