Agree with Bam,  I would try another hay, or a new bag of the same type. Sometimes a bag is just “off” and the bun doesn’t like it.

If she wont eat enough hay after 4-5 days with the new hay I would try a different hay. Rabbits can eat many different grass hays, not just timothy. Orchard or oat hay, for example. As you are saying, she needs hay for her tummy to work properly.

Myra does exactly this sometimes! I interpret it exactly as Bam described, that she’s saying “excuse me, please move”.

If a bun actually does nip you, you can communicate that they hurt you by making a loud “EEEEK” noise. Since they nip each other through fur, a nip that would not hurt another bunny could still pinch a bit for a human.

Is there anything stressful going on in your home? This over grooming is also known as “barbering” and I’ve seen it happen in bonded pairs when they are under a lot of stress. If it’s just a gentle “nip” it could be a polite bunny way to say “please move away, Sir, if you’d be so kind”. A rabbit that bites out of anger or fear tends to draw blood.

I dont think it’s anything to worry about. Rabbits are not bred to not bite humans, the way dogs are. So if a rabbit actually bites the human, it doesnt mean its a “bad” rabbit.
