I think Bam might be on to something. WBCs are a little high. I also notice creatinine is a little high. This is one measure of kidney function. I would suggest exploring this further. Yes, GI stasis can cause elevated numbers on blood tests. But the gas and stasis episodes could also be a secondary symptom of something else.

This is pretty normal. The risk is much lower in young rabbits, especially males being neutered. However, if you are worried, then I’m sure you can request it.

Where I am, bloodwork before a neuter is not done routinely on young healthy male buns. You could probably request bloodwork if you’re very worried.

Sometimes they are just out of it for the entire day. I’m glad she is doing better now.

She’s soooo tired. Barely reactive. Her ears still move and all that but I’ve never seen her this tired. Is that normal? I know she’s gonna be in pain and the vet sent me home with some pain meds. How long does it usually take them to get back to normal?
