I remember the vet saying “oh boy, was he neutered” when she first saw him. LOL  Now… you can’t even tell. His empty sacks shrank and you can’t really see them now.

A ver can express a bun’s testicles if they have descended but arent readily showing (as you know, rabbits can pull in their testicles under certain circumstances, like when they’re stressed during a vet visit). I buy hay directly from a farm, but I’m not in the USA. In the USA, horse hay is often mixed with alfalfa,sometimes a 50/50% ratip. That is obviously not goid for adult buns. No no, in the half bath/hallway, they are all great! The sleep on their bed together, eat together, have nose to nose secret meetings, etc. Fully bonded in that space, if there is such a thing. Have you tried any 1-on-1 time? It sounds like your pair has a really strong bond and they are happy to shut the new bunny out.

They have been in neutral 2×4, and then expanded to 4×4, for over a week around the clock. This not an open 4×4 but a 2×4 and then a doorway out to another 2×4.

I think Bam might be on to something. WBCs are a little high. I also notice creatinine is a little high. This is one measure of kidney function. I would suggest exploring this further. Yes, GI stasis can cause elevated numbers on blood tests. But the gas and stasis episodes could also be a secondary symptom of something else.

As it says in the vet statement, it could perhaps be about pain from the kidney/urinary tract. Pain anywhere in the body of a rabbit can become apparent as GI trouble.
