Arthas finally got his neuter done on Wednesday! We had to cancel his original appointment due to us being sick. But, he did well with the surgery. Maybe. Stress can cause them to fluctuate a little bit, that’s for sure. I’m guessing he’s just a very energetic bunny.

As for the partitioning suggestion, what I meant was you could make a small area (i.e. where they get along) progressively bigger to see if that helps.

I have forwarded this thread to BB. I’m wondering if this is some sort of back end problem.

Forgot to say… When I press the post button, it actually takes me to a WordPress page that says there’s a critical error. I have to find my way back to the forum and then see my post awaiting moderation.

I’m not sure if it’s actually a technical issue or just the way things work now, but it seems every post I make (whether a new topic I create or a response to someone else in their thread) has to be approved by mods before it shows up. I just looked at his history. Intake at shelter he was 2.2. He then went to foster, got neutered, and 6months later came back to shelter weighting 2.6. Another 6months later adopted from shelter and he’s 2.3 and then he was 2.2 at my vet. He’s now 2.8. Maybe he gets stressed and lose weight when near other buns but now more ok and so gained.

Hmm… got bigger… changed coat… all signs point to a young bunny. LOL  But, yes, who knows. If he came from a hoarding situation, it’s possible they mixed him up with another bun when they were processing intakes.

I don’t currently experience any technical issues with the forum. Can you describe what is happening?

FWIW, I have enjoyed seeing some familiar faces lately. This was such an awesome bunny community (and still can be). Everyone was so caring and we had some very knowledgeable members. I miss that.

I originally joined years ago, then had to drop off for a good while due to some personal reasons. I’m trying to be more active here again, though, because I really enjoy the bunny community that hangs out here. 🙂

LOL I don’t know. GirlBun is the youngest bun I’ve had, at 4 months when she arrived; she is the only bun that has grown in my care. For other buns, NewBoyBun was the only bun that I was told 1yr+ vs 2yr+ (same shelter). Can they grow after 1.5yr? I thought at 1yr, they should be set in personality (assuming fixed) and growth. Thank you so much! Sorry for the late reply! My bun ended up accepting greens very willingly so I would sneak some critical care onto his greens and he would happily eat it! He’s gotten so much better, and is almost back to normal! Thank you!!!

I should’ve thought of those that’s so smart! I think the burrito made it much more stressful for him, so I’ll definet;y try that if I need to next time. I don’t have to force feed my bun anymore since he’s almost fully back to normal, he’s been doing great! Thank you so much though I really appreciate it!
