I ended up getting another bunny, it hurt too much not having a companion. I just wanted share some of the things I went though with my bunny.

Yes, ignoring is a million times better than fighting. I would not take her indifference as meaning they can’t live together. They may not end up being Velcro bunnies, but they will likely be able to live together peacefully. I don’t consider that a failure.

We have started the bonding process with Georgia and Arthas. They have been living as neighbors in a neutral space for a couple weeks now, with stuff being swapped, etc. There have been a couple of short dates that are mostly uneventful except for Georgia being crabby and grunting at Arthas.

Yeah, I agree!

I was thinking about itbthe other day and I realized that, while its still a great place to get vun questions answered, the socializing/friendly chat has gone down since its not as active. Things like the photo contests and bunny naming contests and monthly chats. Its a lot of fun getting to know the hooms behind the buns, too! 😀

I’m definitely late to this thread… I’m guilty of forgetting about the forum because it’s pretty inactive. But I hope the forum gets revived too! I miss the image competitions we used to have, those were so fun. And the monthly chats were great too. This was such a good place to ask questions, everyone is so nice.

I don’t have any personal experience with Nationwide (or pet insurance in general), but I wonder if it would be as difficult as dealing with human insurance? All the prior authorizations for treatments, denied coverage, etc especially for exotics like bunnies.

I don’t have any personal experience with Nationwide, but I believe they exclude pre-existing conditions. To be honest, I think you would do better with just setting money aside as an emergency fund for your pets.
