So today my bunny ate like 5 pieces of carrots and they were like 1 inch each. I’m so stressed out is he going to be fine?😔

He will most likely be fine! He is probably QUITE pleased with himself. I would just push lots of hay on him to keep things moving along. You might also want to skip his pellet ration today just to encourage more hay eating. If he seems like he gets gassy, you can give him a tummy rub and some simethicone.

I’m sure he will be fine. Worst case scenario would be some mushy poops and a gassy tummy.

My old rabbit Cotton did that… there was a container of dried carrot and the room was — or so I thought — bunny-proofed; I turned my head for literally one second and i turned back to a noise and he ripped the top of a tight seal container off!! With his teeth! I ran over and grabbed it from him but he took a ton and ran away and gobbled them up before I could take them 🙄 so I was worried of course but as the messages above say, push a lot of hay on him, as I did, and he was fine! His poops were darker but he didn’t have stasis. Lol, I learned from that and elevated the container now!! He was so proud of himself too. Anyway, your bun should be fine! If he gets gassy, I would suggest exercise, hay, and some simethicone. *Edit: Tummy rubs can help too!!

                Good luck 🙂

He could get a bit of extra cecal poops. That’s nothing to be worried about, because it will right itself over the next few days. Just monitor poop (ie check so there is poop), and keep an eye to see so he has an appetite. 🙂
