Hi everyone!
I just wanted to introduce myself and my bunny Abigail! My name is Emily and I’m 25, currently living up in the mountains in Colorado. My bunny is Abigail and she is about a year and a half old now, she’s a mini rex. She’s my first rabbit since I moved back to the states, before that I hadn’t had any for a couple years while I was moving around. Prior to that though I’ve had rabbits constantely since I was 6.
Abigail is a funny little rabbit with a big personality. She has a cage but she spends most of the day running around the house as I currently work from home. She loves zipping back and forth as fast as she can from the office to the bedroom through the livingroom as it’s a straight shot inbetween them all (all I see at that point is a blur). She’s also a mischievous thief. When she finds something she likes that she wants, she’ll grab it and carry it back to her cage. This has included random utensils such as teaspoons or forks as well as my flashdrive when it fell on the floor once. She also enjoys climbing up on/all over my boyfriend when he lies down on the floor, as well as constantely trying to re-arrange his pant legs.
(apperently according to her he wears them wrong
)She’s spayed and wonderfully potty trained which she basically learned the first day I got her (which I think is the quickest out of any of the bunnies I’ve had). She’s been a solo rabbit since I got her but later this week she’ll be getting what hopefully will be a wonderful new bunny friend.
In the meantime we hope to make plenty of new friends on here!

Emkvet, I’ve been enjoying binkybunny for about a week now while I’ve been stalking it, I figured I should sign up and say hello since there are so many people on here that love bunnies just as much as I do which just sounds wonderful in itself! Peppy, I hope this isn’t too sore a subject but Tammo’s coloring/overall look is really close to my moms first bunny from when she was a teenager..though I’m not sure my moms bunny ever climbed tree’s! -

That was the first time she ever met her reflection, she kept slowly creeping up to it, freaking out and running away, then returning seconds later to do it again. Every so often she would also go behind the mirror and seem confused why the “other bunny” disappeared.Oh, you’re the girl with Wesley! I just now recognized his picture, haha. I saw your post with him yesterday, he’s so ridiculously cute!

And yes, Colorado is definitely beautiful, I live about 3 hours east from your uncle then! It’s nice with the space, I get to take Abigail outside in her harness every so often as well. It’s most fun to do that in the winter though if we’ve randomly gotten a lot of snow because she thinks it’s ridiculously fun to burrow/tunnel underneath the snow, most of the time all you see at that point is the leash sticking out and nothing else!
