You guys were right about Oswald-his color changed after a couple major sheds

So when I introduced myself and Oswald, he had some unique coloring/patterns on his ears and face.  Some of you said that it may change with a major shed, and it did.  He is now glossy black with just some hint of gray on his feet and sometimes throughout his coat, the red-brown is all gone!  I think the color of his feet is from the otter in his lines, but I’m surprised and a little sad to see the red go.  Either way, he’s still adorable to me, he looks like a puppy sometimes, or a stuffed animal.  I tried my best to get good pictures, but black animals are difficult to photograph. (I also have a black cat and her pics never do her justice either)

I thought this one turned out nice, he looks more like a little puppy than a bunny.

I think they change colors to mess with us. 

Actually when Cotton sheds for the spring n summer he gets brownish in his gray rear area.   In fall winter shed it is a solid gray with no red highlights.

Maybe thats what Oswald will do.  Maybe not.  Still he is a lovely black beauty

Wow, that would be so neat if the red comes back every year.  I wonder… Either way, I am quite fond of him and his cuteness.

It might. When the hair becomes old the tips can change colour. My friend that had a black and white Dutch said the black turned brown almost overnight. Then he shed it out and was back in black. All in the course if a week.

These are great pictures. Oswald is like a model. Just lovely!

After five years, Little-Bit still never stops keeping up with the latest trends in bunny fashion. Sometimes she’ll be wearing small hand gloves and sometimes she’ll be wearing long elegant lady gloves, occasionally even extending up to her shoulders.. Sometimes she’ll have on an eye mask and sometimes she’ll have on an entire face mask. Sometimes she’ll be wearing light grey pants and sometimes she’ll be wearing white pants –it just depends on the season!
