XRAY (Radiograph) RESULTS- INTERPRET

Our bunny has cold ears, pain & hasn’t been eating & drinking for more than 48 hours now-except for pedialyte I syringe-feed her with. The vet already gave us medicines, nutritional supplements (aka pedialyte, vitamin b complex and the like). She also subcutaneously administered needed medications. Furthermore, she has already INTERPRETED the xray result I have attached.
Although, maybe anyone from here could interpret the results again? I would just like to have an even more clearer understanding of the XRAY IMAGE.
If you do know how to read the image can you specifically locate & answer the following, please:
(1) is there any blockage you see? If yes, which part of the xray image?
(2) is there any gas? If yes, which part?
(3) Can you see our bunny’s organs properly? Heart,Lungs,Kidneys, Liver, Intestines,Reproductive organ, etc.?
(4) follow-up for #3: Can you point out which in the image are they?
(5)follow-up for #4: Do the organs seem normal or problematic? Is there ANY SWELLING on any of the organs? ANY RUPTURE?
(6) what is that seemingly white little spot/period-like (A LOT LESS than a “pin heads” size) thing on the left side of the image)
(7) what can you conclude from seeing the image? Any Positive or negative remarks about the result?

According to my vet, that large white mass near the right hand isnt vert good. I dont know what it means (gas, blockage, ect), but i know our rabbits was a bit more transparent and she said he was in perfect healthy. Usually not eating and not drinking means there is a blockage or too much gas, though. Critical care and mashed pellets mixed with water in a feeding syringe might help as well. What did your vet say was wrong? Is the vet a rabbit certified one? Not just any vet knows how to work on rabbits. How is your bunny doing?

Oh poor thing. I hope they are able to stabilise her and make her comfortable. That’s the most important thing at the moment. Is she on pain reliever? Keeping her warm, hydrated and managing pain are critical.

Did the vet give you a printed copy of what they interpreted? Are you wanting some help understanding the terminology of that at all?

Please understand, the majority of us here are not trained to read x-rays. So we’d just be speculating. And for those that are trained, it’s difficult to tell much from just a photo.

I find Xrays can be really confusing personally!

I cannot tell much from this x-ray. The white spot is possibly a kidney stone but it could also just be an anomaly on the film. If it is seen in same region in a second x-ray (different angle) then it’s more likely a stone. As to the stomach and cecum, I cannot tell much and again, it would only be speculation.

You’ve paid for the Xrays so you are able to take them or copies to another vet for second opinion if you choose.
That would be your best bet. Or revisit with the vet you did see and ask that they go over the xray again with you. I know it can be hard to take things in when your at the vet and stressed about your pet!!
