WTH… I feed you!!!!

 I came home from work this morning with some fresh collard greens for Huckles and Gatorade for the BF. He got a job (FINALLY!!!!) so he was waiting for me to get home so he could go to work. I let Huckles out of her room and she binkied all over the room. She pounced on her dingle ball, raced around the room, danced around the exercise bike and bumped him with every passing. The minute he left, she went back to her room and went to sleep….  I’m starting to take this personally!!! (No, not really) Why do the cute stuff for him? I feed you, bunny!!!

I am the keeper of the bunny crack/papaya. This even earns me forgiveness for the being the evil one who uses the nail clippers. So I win!

I am pretty sure I am the favorite because I spend more time with her, but Hodari does binky and run and play more when she sees my husband, maybe because his appearance is less expected. With me, she would rather stretch out and get nose rubs and kisses.

puppet has claimed goose, i am rue’s. poor hubby is so left out! rue will let him pet him, but puppet just shrugs him off every time he tries.

Fievel is SO aloof, I don’t think anyone really registers to him. Hahaha
Velvateen is definitely mine and loves to follow me around and give kisses. But just yesterday, Boyfriend was leaving for work and I was sitting on the floor. Boyfriend came over and crouched down to give me a kiss and Velvateen ran over from the other side of the room and sat up on his back legs waiting for goodbyes. Haha

Haha that’s funny because its the opposite in our house. My bf says the same thing, but “I give you bananas!!!!!” lol instead of food.

And he also throws in there – “I bought your bunny castle and all your toys! She just feeds you healthy stuff!” LMBO!

I think it maybe a tie with my boyfriend and myself. She will automatically groom his forehead and nose for no reason.

She showed me love a few weeks ago by chinning my finger. My boyfriend said “Koucha, why don’t you chin meeeeee?” Seriously, he said that She doesn’t chin him, only me. She will kiss me, but on the lips and the chin. She goes for different face places on my bf and I.

She sometimes shows my bf more love.. maybe that is because.. well, mommy is a demon and picks her up for nail trims and grooms.

Oh, this is what happened this morning:

Me: *gets the raisin bag and shakes*

Bunny: *HOP HOP over to mommy*

Me: Give mommy kisses first!!

Bunny:* Is in my face.. does not give kisses… and does not kiss me, hops away*

Me: *Shakes bag again*

Bunny: *comes running back over and glady kisses me.*

Me: *gives raisin*

Bunny: *runs off footflicking with it in mouth*

I feel you! rorschach LOVES my boyfriend, and the other morning Paul ran into my room super excited with all this white hair on his shirt and said rorschach let him pick him up! WHAT?!?!?!?! >=| rorschach also loves when Paul rubs his head, but it isn’t the same when I do it. however, rorschach will lick me, but not Paul. Nikka is less affectionate in general but she’ll hang out with me haha.

Momo is a daddy’s girl. She is supposed to be my birthday rabbit. I am the one who usually feeds her, cleans her cage and gives her treats. Yet I am the bad guy. She will hop on his lap for pets, but not mine. However, daddy is the one she pees on. I am not jealous of that.

It’s totally opposite for me. Poops and Meaty will scatter if my bf tries to pet them. Therefore he says that he just enjoys “looking” at them. I think he’s jealous because they don’t like him as much lol. Cheddar will tolerate pets from him at times…depends on his grumpy grandpa mood.

Lolli is mine. But it’s totally on her terms and I am the only one who does everything for her. Eddie was a little attention wh*re and gave kisses to EVERYONE. LOL

I so lol’ed at this title….rofl….

I dote on Mimzy. *sings…”Whatever Mimzy wants…Mimzy gets…lalala* But he loves my DAUGHTER. Don’t ask me why, she hardly sees him, I do EVERYTHING for him… but if she comes into the bunny room he rushes over to the door of his hab and demands noserubs.

Pip is not technically my bunny, but my daughters’. However I am the only one Pip will allow to give cheek chuckies and noserubs to. To everyone else she shows her diva personality. Beat that with a stick.

Fiver is a general love bug to anyone, but he adores daughter when she reads to him. He will curl up with his little apple plushie and sit as if he is listening attentively…which I believe he is. He likes fairy tales.

Of course, on another note, Jenna (dog) was supposed to be my daughters’, but she has glommed to me. My daughter hates this.
And when we had our German shepherd, she would play with me if hubby wasn’t home, but the minute daddy drove up the dog would drop the Frisbee (usually under the porch so I couldn’t throw it again) and run for daddy’s feet to go belly up for tummy rubs. I would literally cease to exist for her. It was nauseating. >.<

Shadow, my Mack Husky, would get jealous and vocal if my husband came near me or touched me for the first 6 months to a year of his life with us. He learned to love my hubby after he took him for runs with the ATV, and after that he seemed to enjoy both of us as company equally.

It is funny how animals will choose one or the other or even a child over the responsible ‘parent’…despite the work one does to maintain their comfort. And it is thoroughly maddening.

AWW All of your stories have made my day!!! I really needed some good bunny stories today too, I found out last night that the rabbit I was going to adopt is no more. She was in a cage in a barn, there was a storm and her cage fell or the lid blew off or something. Im unsure of the details but she is out running wild on their farm somewhere. :”-(
I was so sad, I sat there with my head in my boyfriend’s lap for half an hour crying over it all. It scares me how attached I got to something I hadn’t even met yet!
Thank you guys, for all of your tales of rabbitutde, they cheered me up alot!!!
