Worried about bunny

Hi there, I have had my bunny for 4 weeks, I don’t know if he has any medical history or anything like that as I brought him from a 4 year experienced breeder! I use meadow Hay for him to eat and sawdust as his litter. I noticed he is sneezing everyday and his nose is a little damp and not really bad, what do I do? He eats and drinks fine, he eats Hay but when he puts his nose in the hay he sneezes a lot. I dont know if he need medical attention and haven’t yet registered him to a vets and i was going to do that at the end of August. Do I change the litter and Hay? Do I keep an eye on his symptoms for now? He is 12 weeks old this Friday and he is an indoor bunny, he has his own cage and I use a blanket as bed but he doesn’t chew on that, I know it’s bad for them if they do.
Please help guys I’ll be very happy once I know what to do.

His name is scratch and is a mini lop, he is very loving and jumps around during exercise, I’ve got a special bond with him too as he links my arms whilst I fuss him, he also likes to chew lol!

It could be the hay or the sawdust or both. Meadow hay is good hay for bunnies, but some batches are dustier than others. You could try hay from another bag, any grass hay is fine (timothy, orchard, oat and so on, not alfalfa though.) A damp nose is not really worrisome unless there’s white snot or constantly wet cheeks (means runny eyes).

I use hardwood stove pellets as litter, they don’t turn into sawdust until the bunny pees on them. There’s also litter made of paper that’s virtually dust free.

Thank you so much, I feel alittle less worried about him now, I will try a different litter and Hay to see if that works. I have been keeping a close eye on him because if there was something wrong I will take him vets no matter the cost. Thank you so much!
