Hello rabbit lovers! I discovered that one of my rabbits for sure has pinworms. I’m looking for some advice on what to do.

        1. Is it ok if I buy a product and deworm her myself without spending a ton of money at the vet’s? Which product(s) should I buy?

        2. Should I deworm all 3 of my rabbits just in case?

        3. Should I regularly deworm my rabbits?

& any other advice. Thank you!

You can buy Panacur (fenbendazole) for rabbits yourself and deworm your rabbits if it’s pinworms. I think you should deworm all three.

If your bun has regular time outside you can deworm 1-2 times per year routinely. But most house bunnies are only dewormed when there’s a problem, like visible worms or if the bun has mysterious tummy trouble.
