Hi, does anyone know of a good pellet litter? I’ve heard some people use a horse stall litter? I’m using pine shavings and I’m looking for a good replacement!!! I try to cover the pine with hay for now. Any tips on what kind of pellet litter I can use would be appreciated! ps. can I use pine pellets? thx again!

I’m told that a 50-pound bag of wood stove pellets can be bought at hardware or farm-supply stores for $20. I was talking about making a “digging box” for Panda and Fernando with their foster mom Sunday, using the extra litter box I have, and she recommended the wood stove pellets (they’ll be a heck of a thing to clean up, though!).

I use wood pellet cat litter. I go through one bag a week, and it costs £5.50 per bag.

as added info this particular bedding i buy is very absorbent and easy to clean, IMO. It wood shavings and odor control, which with my two buns being unaltered until now has worked very well.

also did i say cheap! lasts me a month or more
