  I can’t picture him not liking the pan since he spends to much time in there.

  How old is your bunny? What is your current set-up? What kind of litter do you use? Do you put hay in or near the box? Have you checked out the Litter Training Tips in the info section? (If not it might be a good place to start)

  I’m not sure on the exact age, he’s a young bunny. He has the carefresh natural litter in the pan right now and a hay feeder above it.

  It sounds like he’s using it like a bed, which isn’t unusual. Lots of bunnies choose the box as a favourite hang-out.
  You could try give him a second box, set that up where he is peeing the most and pop the hay rack over that one instead. I’d probably even leave some carefresh in the one he spends time in for now.

  This method works well; basically you ensure you have your rabbit in a small area for litter training. there are four corners-one is bed, one is food, one is water and one is toilet. You will figure out which corner you bunny prefers to toilet in and put the litter box in that corner. Any stay poops or pee, wipe up and put in the litter box.
  The two litter boxes Jersey suggested is a great idea-you could just pick one as the toilet one (whichever he seems to prefer) and put the poops and pee in that one. Perhaps a different kind of litter in the toilet one-like wood stove pellets or yesterdays news so he knows which is which.
