I always love the way Willow smells.  But as of late Ive been trimming down the rose bushes in our garden and cutting all the leaves off for Willow.   No flowers yet, of course, just lots of leaves.    She will easily eat a pound of them if I give them to her in a few hours.   She smells just like flowers now.    So sweet, I totally forgive her for dragging hay around the house with her  fluffy fur.

I’d totally forgive her too. Fragrant as well as beautiful!

Awww, beautiful perfumed bunny you have there!

ps. save some of the cuttings to dry and store. Really useful to have on hand for when your rabbit is feeling poorly and you want to entice them to eat.

              Yum! Rose-scented willow. teeheehee

Yesterday, my students wrote their midterm exam, so of course, I received a few peremptory bribes – three rose bouquets (small ones… between 3 and 6 stems each).

Can you guess who got the roses at the end of the day?

I mean, seriously… do bunny parents even put flowers in vases anymore? Because I for one haven’t since adopting Chewie… all flowers get soaked in fruit/veggie wash, then soaked in water, then fed to the lion. (Kuwait is too old-school to do pesticides lol)

It’s interesting how she always smells really good and I think it’s a lot to do with what she eats. I’m going to have too look at what other edible flowers I can grow for her.
