        Hey folks,

Happy holidays! Gizmo got his favorite toy ever, a willow ball, as a treat for Christmas. He managed to eat THE ENTIRE THING. Will this hurt his digestive tract at all? It was only about 8 hours from the time he got it to the time I noticed it was all gone.

        Thanks!

Wow, I take it he liked his gift then!
It shouldn’t t hurt. It’s just more fibre. Wild rabbits will consume twigs, bark and grass as normal part of diet.

I give my rabbit both fresh and dried willow. They usually polish it off. There is one I limit it for because I noticed his behaviour is more bratty hours after having a lot of willow. Sort of like a kid that has reaction to food colouring. It’s odd…

My rabbits devour willow balls within a few hours. It’s nothing to worry about
