Will my bunny get any bigger?

Just out of curiosity!  I really don’t know too much about my bunny’s, Sirius’s, specific breed.  She is a lionhead dwarf!  Or at least, that’s what the people I got her from said.  I don’t think the people I got her from are really very informed on rabbits….   Their rabbits all lived together in an outdoor hutch.  Also, there were black rabbits (like Sirius) and orange-ish yellow ones in her litter.  I think she was the smallest one, maybe the runt?  But I’m unsure, I really can’t remember, lol.

Anyways, she is so tiny!  Is she normal sized?  Even for a dwarf?  When I took her in for her spay on Sept. 19th, she was weighed by them, and is 2.8 pounds.  I’m just wondering if she will grow anymore from here on out?  Or even if she will get more fur?  Get longer fur at all?  It’s stayed pretty consistent since she grew out of her baby fur.  She is probably around 5/6 months old now.  She was born mid-late April I’m assuming, since she was ready to come home around the 1st of June.  It’s okay of course if she doesn’t get any bigger, I’m just wondering!

Oh!  Also, one other quick little question.  Sirius is pretty good with her litterbox habits now that she was just spayed 2 weeks ago….  Much better than before.  THANK GOD.  After her spay, her old cage was hardly littered with any stray poop.  But today I put her in a new, much bigger caged in area.  I got her a pen instead of a cage, and just put a blanket on the floor.  She’s been pooping all over her new area.  No pee on the blanket, thankfully.  Just poos.  Is this still normal even though she’s been spayed?  It is completely new to her after all….  She has her same litterbox in there and such, but poops everywhere.  Ugh.  Lol.

Oh she is so darling! She does look like a lionhead/netherland dwarf mix to me as well, although it is always hard to tell. If that’s true then 3lbs is within a normal weight range for dwarf rabbits. The most important thing is that she is not too skinny for her size, and she looks like a healthy weight from the video you posted

Dwarf bunnies tend to stop growing by 6 months of age, larger rabbits continue to grow for longer. So she could be near her max weight. As far as the fur thing goes, I remember something about lionheads having their first big molt around 1yr old? Someone who knows more about the breed can correct if I’m wrong. So her fur might change a bit then.

As for the poop thing, it is normal for all buns, fixed or not, to mark a new area with territorial poos. It is good she still pees in her box, it means she knows that she is supposed to use it! The poops should die down within a week in my experience.

Its unlikely she will be getting any bigger as a dwarf. My Bombur is a netherland dwarf and about 2.3lbs. Dwarves are really small little buns

Her fur around her head might get longer, otherwise her fur probly isnt going to change in length too much any more, aside from shedding and molting seasons.

As for the pooping. Normal. Normal because it can take up to six months for females hormones to die down so expect some territory poops throughout then, and also normal because its a new are and she has to claim it

Oh I have figured out that she is in fact NOT peeing in her litterbox….  UGH.  Only a little; I watched her pee on her blanket today!  Soooo angry!  I’ll try reintroducing her to the blankets when I see the territorial pooping stop……   What a freaking brat, had to ruin a good thing. lol.
