  My husband was out pulling some weeds yesterday and found this little guy in the brush. The mother was near by hiding in our black eyed susan flowers keeping a close watch on her baby. There wasn’t a nest, it was old enough to be out of it but still to tiny to wander off to far. It didn’t move and we weren’t sure if it was just scared or hurt so I picked it up to check it over. It was just scared because it scurried off a little after I put it down; but not without getting some pics! Oh and my husband just got done mowing the yard and said he saw the baby and the mother. I went out to look and she’s right behind the garage hiding. She’s our disabled bunny that hangs around the house all the time! Glad she’s still ok

  Soooo cute!! The rabbit rescue I volunteer at also rehabs wildlife. I helped unload a big container of about 20 wee little cottontails yesterday (some with eyes still shut). They are so squishable!!

  My husband found the original nest. She actually had the nest right next to a tree out front. He saw the fur while spraying the weeds but it was empty. That one might have been the only one to survive.
  OMG, 20 of them?! So cute! I want a baby bun now…I know I’d regret saying that once it starts chewing everything haha but they are so adorable!
