Great, I just came online to ask this same question! I lay on the rug with Jess today, feeding her hay by hand, and she has started honking. It’s really funny.
I was lying on my stomach with my knees bent so my feet were up in the air, and Jess started leaping over my legs and then running around my feet over and over. I’m wondering, is this ‘circling’ behavior or just Jess being happy and doing something fun? She’s definitely happy today, I did a 14 hour shift yesterday and a 9 hour one today so she’s been home alone a lot lately. Today I had epic bunny dancing, lots of flopping, lying out stretched and even flopping so much she was on her back with belly exposed! And she’s decided she likes flopping up against my legs. Looks like she could be a snuggly bunny after all.
I’m really pleased that she is so happy and is seeking out my company – she comes up and nudges my foot if I’m sitting on the couch – but if what she was doing is ‘circling’ behavior is it time to get her spayed?
