I’ve always thought of introductions as a complicated, uncomfortable process.  Somehow, someway you are supposed to sum up yourself, and everything you’re about, in a single post, or conversation.  How is that even possible?  There are many facets to every person, many different hills and valleys.  People are not made up of flatness, they are mountains, vast, vast mountain ranges actually.  You never truly know everything about them, some things are hidden in caves that they themselves do not even know about.  Although, I believe I should give you some account of myself.  Not a full one mind you, but one none the less.
My name is Lauren, and I’m a nineteen year old with a penchant for pondering life and riding more horses than is probably good for her.  I’m an (as of this fall) English/Graphic Design double major with a (hopeful) minor in Marketing.  Throughout my life I have been what many would term an ‘animal’ lover and have owned many a dog, rabbit, horse, goat, and cat…some of which my parents were unaware of until they unwittingly stumbled upon them  (that always ended with my parents giving in after giving us some serious disproving looks).  As of this moment in time I am the steward of my families herd of 6 horses (of which I personally own a little quarter horse cross (who we are battling possible navicular and heel pain with currently) and a little mutt of a pony), my indoor dog, Max (a Border Collie/Mini Aussie cross), my livestock guardian, Mara (an Anatolian/Great Pyrenees cross), and a little blue frosted pearl (I think?  She’s white with blue/grey eyes, blue/grey splotch on her nose, and blue/grey ears?) holland lop named Luna (after luna lovegood from Harry Potter, yes, I am a geek ).

Oh, and here are a few pictures of the wee beastie (I can post some pictures of my horse, pony, and dogs as well later on if y’all would like to see them as well … and excuse the horrid quality.  They are all off of my phone, of which I may have accidentally messed up the camera when I dunked it in coffee a time or three…)-

Oh!  Lauren-Taylor is my FIRST name, not my whole name!  Slightly confusing, but I’m from the southern US and double first names are fairly common there, I tend to forget that they aren’t common in most other parts of the world/country, I should have put a hyphen but I hate how it looks with the hyphen   But I will keep that tidbit of information in mind from here on out   And thank you so much!  I *think* she’s a holland, but she’s growing at a very rapid pace and part of me thinks she may be a mini lop because it looks like she may very easily pass the 4lb mark!

Oops, sorry about that. Taylor is a pretty common last name, so I assumed that that was what it was in this case.

She looks Holland-ish in your pictures, but I suppose time will tell.

No biggie!  I should have added the hyphen, but I’m an annoying twerp sometimes

I hope she’s a holland and not a mini because I like the look of the holland’s and their size much better than the minis…I will most likely be moving into a fairly small apartment/flat in the next year or two so a small bun was one of my most important stipulations

Welcome to Binky Bunny! Your bunny is adorable. How old is she?

And for what it’s worth, she definitely looks like a Holland to me.

Thank you!  And we’re not 100% sure…I’m thinking somewhere around 12-14 weeks?  I’ve had her for about two weeks, and I think she was 8-10 weeks old when we got her, maybe slightly older (we got them slightly impulsively…I had wanted another bunny for a while but was going to get one from a breeder, but then I saw her at the feedstore all by herself and covered in feces so I had to get her.  It took me a week or two to get her healthy, and I did have to bathe her bottom half twice and shave it down to get the mats and old feces out of her fur)

I’m glad y’all think she’s a Holland!  I do not want a bunny over 5lbs at this time in my life   I do not have the room for it (I could if I absolutely had to but it’s not what I would LIKE) and will likely not have the room for it for a few more years

And I’d love to see pics of your other pets. I really love animals. I currently only have my bun, Moxie, and my dog (who is a miniature dachshund), Snickers.

MoxieMeadows: Thank you! I’ll grab a few pictures of a few of my ‘crew’ and upload them in a minute

And I have a few too many animals if we’re being honest   I think at last count it was something like 15?  We currently have 6 horses, 5 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 bunnies…I just sold the last of my goats (Hallelujah! They were escape artists and wound up across town more times than I care to remember), and my livestock dog killed my chickens thanks to the animal sitter letting her out with the chickens before I had introduced her, and I also lost my 7 year old QH in January to colic so we’re down to the lowest we’ve been in a while

LittlePuffyTail: Thank you Horses are the best, aren’t they? I love my dogs and my buns but I really, really, really love my ponies ❤️❤️❤️

I forgot the pony!  Gosh, it is almost impossible to forget about Flutter because he is in your face TWENTY FOUR SEVEN

Thank you!  It is a really pretty piece of property…although right now it is quite scary looking thanks to the fact that the horses have eaten almost all of the grass because of the drought
