If my bun pees on something that doesn’t absorb fast enough he turns around and drinks it! He’s a six year old, non-neutered  Netherland Dwarf but he’s always done this. What’s going on?

Hi @Gogo and very welcome to BinkyBunny 🙂

Yes, my ladies will do this sometimes too, they also have the charming habit of eating their poop. This is a very normal behavior in rabbits, so don’t be alarmed by it, although, it is perfectly normal to be disgusted. 😉 Cat owners learn about felines, rabbit owners learn about poop, nice huh? 😛 There are a lot more behind those fluffy faces than one can expect, although they are very worthy companions. 🙂

Eh, some rabbits will just do that. As HipHop said, it’s normal.

By all accounts rabbits should be pretty gross little creatures (eating poop, drinking pee, sleeping in their litter boxes, eating while they poop), but somehow they aren’t at all! LOL
