Why do my bunnies do this?

Hello,
when I feed my rabbits treats they hop off and shake their ears and head? Is that a good sign? Or should I have my vet check for ear mites?
Also, I have two rabbits and one will bite me really hard when it’s the other ones turn for a treat? How do I stop that? It hurts. It’s not a nip, he draws blood and bruises me. It’s not that big of a deal, I still love him. Seriously though, if I can stop it I would love to.

Sounds like half binkies to me Meaning they are happy and thankful for the treat. I wouldnt worry too much about it unless you start to see them scratch their ears a lot

To teach your bunnies to share treats and not to bite you over treats, it might be best to give them treats at the exact same time. That way he knows hes not getting something less than your other bun. If that doesnt work, you can put him in his cage when you give the second bun a treat, but then youll have to pet him. Every time he bites, let out a “yip!” or an “ow!” then turn away so he can learn that biting hurts you

Yes, sounds like excitement. I call it a “head binky” lol. It would be a bit like that nerve response we get when we a shiver for an unknown reason. Sometime they’ll do it when they’ve been reprimanded for something also.
One of mine does laps around the room with treat in his mouth. Takes him a while before he settles on a spot to actually eat it.

I agree with Mikey’s advice about the biting.
