        Hey everyone,
My baby Daisy was spayed a few weeks ago, and her incision has a little sort of pocket at the end of it. (It has always looked like this so I’m assuming it’s supposed to) and I noticed yesterday that there is some white gunk in the little pocket. I tried to clean it out with a cotton swab and it kind of came out, but I didn’t want to hurt her. Do you think it’s just ‘belly button lint’ or something I should be worried about? Thanks!

Could it be pus? Your best bet is to call your vet and let them know and see if they want you to bring her back in or not.

It doesn’t seem like the consistency of pus. It’s more crumbly.

Bunny pus is different from human pus, it’s thick, like tooth-paste. I think you should give the vet that spayed her a quick call. Maybe the’d like to prescribe an antibiotic. Were you able to clean ut all the crumbly stuff?

I took her to the vet and she has a bit of an infection, so I have some antibiotics to give her. Thanks for your help!!
