white fleck developed on my rabbits eye..

Hi Guys, My bunny has developed a white mark/fleck in her eye between her iris and pupil. she has given birth a week ago and all is well but concerned with this mark as not noticed it before.

Does it appear in the eye or on the surface? Is there any way you could upload a photo?
I would advise you visit an exotic vet asap. Eye injuries-scratches, hay pokes, etc, can be serious if not treated promptly.

Hey norah. Wick actually has an identical mark in the same location, but it’s in his left eye. I don’t think he had it when we received him at 8w, but I noticed it and brought it up at his first vet appointment. After examining the eye (a noninvasive examination), my vet (exotic) ruled it was just a random speck. No idea why it’s there, but it’s harmless was the determination. Fast forward to the present which is two months later, it’s still the same small size and hasn’t done anything negative.

I highly recommend having your vet look at it, but know there is a possibility it’s innocuous.
