  Just wondering where the common person gets there rabbit, you can pick more than one! Please share your stories of how you got your rabbit!

  Otto came from a breeder at 8 weeks old.
  
  For Hannah I selected “family/friend/other” since she came from Craigslist. We wanted another lop and the shelters didn’t have any that would work at the time, so I searched Craigslist for “spayed lop” and found her.

  I adopted Abby from a local rabbit sanctuary after they had 7 Flemish Giants surrendered to them from a youth breeding program.

  I checked petshop for Leopold, but he really came from a feed store. Wooly came from someone who was getting rid of him, so I checked friend/family/other. I guess it would be other.

  I got Powder from the shelter, he was the poor unwanted middle aged REW that everyone was scared of (due to his eye color of all things) but was a total sweet heart – 6 months in the shelter cage, none of the volunteers knew anything about his personality since he was so “weird” and unadoptable they didn’t work with him at all (they took the adoptable ones to schools etc).
  
  Stickers came from craigslist – a neglected bun as a childs pet, rescued from a bad situation by a lady in town who volunteers with special needs children in town, then rehomed by her since she wasn’t supposed to have pets but couldn’t leave the little girl where she was.

  I got Hazel from Craigslist; she came from a woman whose family had a rabbitry. Hazel was actually a show rabbit, and has the tattoo and everything. Now she is living the life of luxury in my apartment, being spoiled and cuddled constantly (as I type this is is flopped against my hip!).
