If you have hay that has been in the hay holder a few days, take it out, shake it up and put it back in. It’s “new hay” again!

Hay doesn’t really have an expiration date. Obviously you wouldn’t want to feed it if it is so old that mold is growing. If your bun is snubbing hay that has been out for a day or two, then do what Stickerbunny suggested. You would be surprised how effective “suggesting” that the hay is “new” can be.
