I turn out the lights, Medusa hops in the litterbox for her last eating/pooping. Then she jumps into bed with me. I pet her and we both fall asleep. She stays there the whole night and leaves around 5am

Every night at around 8 PM, my daughters go to bed.  Each of our three bunnies gets to visit with each girl in her bed, get a treat (usually an herb sprig or piece of dried fruit), and get a few minutes of cuddles in bed.  Both girls tell me that this is one of their favorite times of day.

When I am ready to go to bed, I hold each bunny for a few minutes of cuddles in my lap on the sofa., then it is back into their pen, fresh hay and water, and lights out.

Youu guys are lucky! My bun would never do that! I’ve cuddled him once on the floor, and it caught me totally off-guard (and made me quite happy!). I can’t trust him alone at night in my room! I let him out at night until i get too tired to keep an eye on him… I always feel guilty putting him away because he tends to get hyper late at night. I’m sure he’ll calm a bit with age, though. He’s nearing only a year old.

My bunnies each get a pet and their “good night” treat. Then I cover up the foster bunnies cage with a light blanket so they don’t get a chill cuz’ I leave my windows open at night (no AC in the South Bay!) and then Kramer tries to bust out of his cage fro approx. 15 minutes, so I go pet him to make sure he doesn’t hurt his teeth trying to chew through wire! THEN we all go to bed

Osprey and Poopy – you’re bedtimes are way cuter than mine, hahah, I predict that Osprey’s girls are going to grow up to be either vets, OR the future groundbreakers with animal treament rights! The reason I love being around animals so much is my family raised chickens (in the OC, haha, we were not the most beloved neighbors!) and each year we would raise one or two baby chickens They don’t work so well in apartments tho, so I’m glad I found bunnies!

Hareiette being the bratty princess ALWAYS comes out first. So, it’s always Viktor and Dori who are put in before bed. When it’s time for bed, I say “bedtime for Bonzo and Bonzette” to which they actually know means bedtime. I then give them hay and Viktor (who gets excited about everything) goes leaping in for it. Pandora usually needs more coaxing so we have to round her up to go in. Then Hareiette gets her hay next.

Well, lately, things have been all messed up with my schedule, and because my rabbits have to be let out and back in at separate times from each other, it can make things more challenging, but usually when it’s time for them all to be in for the rest of the night, I will close things up, give them a handful of hay, sometimes a treat and say “night!” We have a dimmer, so throughout the evening I usually lower it, (lucky our webcams adjust well).

Because Weeny Bean is too young for fresh veg and fruit – he’s stolen Brian’s before now and trust me, getting up to go to the little girls room in the dark and squelsching in a beanpoop is not good, especially when come the morning you realise you’ve left it trodden through the hallway to the bathroom!! – Our routine consists of keeping Weeny Bean out the way of Brian whilst he has a couple of grapes (god I adore the noises of Bum and his grape eating!!), the Bean is happy with this as he pops his head down and shuts his eyes, meaning only one thing….THE HEAD RUB! I make sure they have plenty of hay food and water, then Brian gets his head rub, and they are left to their own devices – usually stretched out under the bed together. Ready to cause mayhem at 5am!!

So what noises does he make? Are they loud enough to record?  We could add it to the audio section. There’s not much in that section now, except for a "happy honker" and a "snorer" https://binkybunny.com/Photos/tabid/80/Default.aspx   (you have to go down to the video/audio and then once in there, go to audio (we’re working on that section stil so it’s a little goofy, but still fun)

I’ll give it a go as they’re definitely audible! I suppose it’s a bit like someone with no teeth eating an over ripe peach.  He dribbles loads of juice too and then sits licking his lips over and over …and OVER again.  Awwww my boy!!

I wish my buns would sleep with me!!

The buns take turns being out, so now Cooper and Pookie are out together and then Carrera alone. When its bedtime whoever is out we just say bed or bedtime and they go upstairs to their house. So I clean out their litter boxes and give them fresh hay, then they each get a treat and I turn off the lite and tell them goodnite. Our house has these big vents in the walls and our bedroom is on the other side of the wall from their room. THey seem to understand its bedtime because we hear nothing out of them all nite long. Sometimes I hear a bell ring or one of them jumping but they never wake us up.

Now, in the morning if I sleep in late they will move stuff around and jingle their bells until I come in and feed them. lol

I’m new and I’ll post an intro but I thought I would go ahead and share the bed time routine for my two. It’s a hop in the cage at the clank of the bunny-shaped cookie jar which holds what else but my special secret recipe for bunny cookies!!! After they heartily munch down on those it’s two papaya tablets, then cover the cage up with a blankie and off to bed for me. Spoiled rotten, yes they are. LOL But I would not have it any other way!

Sure! I’ll make another post for them! : )  I also have a great recipe for any bunnies who are unable to chew as well that they use at the HRS in my area. So if anyone needs that too, just let me know.
