  My poor bun has a missing patch of hair with pink slightly scabby irritated looking skin. I can run my finger lightly over the spot and she doesn’t seem to be in any pain from it. But I wonder what this could be. I put neosporin on it and the scab healed a lot but she’s missing even more fur and the pink skin spread more. What could this be??

  It could be a fungal infection like ringworm, this can lead to hair loss in rabbits. It is hard to see in the picture, but are there small raised red bumps in the hairless part? That could point to ringworm. I’d suggest taking her to the vet and getting their opinion! Often they can do skin scrapings to check for fungus.
  
  As a side note, this is one of the very few diseases that can pass between rabbits and humans. If you get a rash too, you can treat human ringworm easily with otc anti-fungals.
