haha! she is a girl, living with me for more than ten years. i found her when i was a student. time gone so soon.
ok, back to the question, have you got any idea ?![]()

I’ll play. But don’t reveal the answer until others have a go when the rest of the world wakes up
My guess is – “Through the looking glass” (i.e. Alice in wonderland) but I don’t even know if there is a movie by that title. It’s the mirror and the rabbit that has me thinking this – lol.
Oh – I just thought of another possibility. Harry Potter! Like when Dumbledore & Harry look into the Pensieve.
one hint: the hat and mirror. ![]()
I know! I know!
“Good evening, Mr. Dowd.” said “Harvey” ![]()
I think you have it RabbitPam! I had to look the film up though as I’m not familiar with it. Now I’m wondering why I hadn’t heard of a six-foot, three-and-one-half-inch tall rabbit named Pooka! I’m going to keep a look out for this film. Any reviews?
Actually, jersey *she said putting on her most boring lecture face* the rabbit and the movie are named Harvey.
A Pooka is a mythical being that takes the form of a large animal, usually a rabbit. It only appears to the human it chooses. It is full of mischief.
It starred Jimmy Stewart, who did the original movie (1940s?)and a remake for TV many years later that he liked better (1950s?). I was little the first time I saw it, did a drawing based on it in high school, and named my guinea pig Harvey after it. Just loved that movie and Pooka.
Harvey definitely wore a hat with ear holes, he just took it off for the portrait. Here’s a still from the movie:

Hmmm… I haven’t heard of the movie Harvey, but i read the plot summary on Wikipedia (which ruined it, btw!) and it sounds interesting. My guess was going to be The Velveteen Rabbit. I haven’t seen that movie in years, but it used to be one of my favorites.
Whaa??? I’m confused!! I’ve never seen that movie? And is that the answer?
(It does not take much to confuse me in the morning-I’ll admit!)
I do not have a clue. Did anyone guess right? If not, can we have more hints :~)

and named my guinea pig Harvey after it.
rabbitpam, I named MY guinea pig after him, too!! I had a relative who used the expression “Harvey must have done it” whenever nobody would fess up to having done a bad thing under investigation… ![]()
OMG Petzy, that is so funny!
The punch line for me was that my pig was a girl, but I still named her after Harvey.
So lancy, am I right or do we need more hints? (And they made a movie of the Velveteen Rabbit? I didn’t know that.)
I loved that movie. I saw it a long time ago before I even became rabbit obsessed – maybe that subconsciously started it all. I somehow wanted my own Harvey. ![]()
RabbitPam, i think now this is a multi-choice question. you provide another proper answer, though it’s not the one i thought.
ok, more hints to help you into my heart
:
1. in the movie, she is a girl with hat, looking at herself in the mirror
2. this movie is based on a novel, written by a Czech writer
oh, i’ve not seen Harvey yet. i’m not sure if this movie has ever been introduced into my country.
Edit:
So I have done various searchs using terms like Czech novelist+film etc and various titles I’ve found I’ve done Image searches to see if a Girl and Mirror and a Hat shows up. Bingo!
“The Unbearable Lightness of Being” ????? I’ve gotta say though Lancy, your stuffed bunny there is a bit more modest looking than the films actress. ![]()
If this is not the answer either than more clues pleeeease!
hint 3:
the writer’s name is Milan Kundera ![]()
Oops sorry – I removed my previous post. See above.
yes, eureka! haha!![]()
this is when she’s fully dressed. last month, i found her cloths were a little big dirty, so i did some laundry work and let her go naked for a day. only with her hat. suddenly, an idea came to my mind, and the pic turned out. ![]()
Yes! I nearly edited my post again when I went back to look at the picture and realised “THAT BUNNY IS NAKED!”
Sorry about any confusion. I posted for more hints, went off to do some online searching and found that film. So I just put my answer where I had previously posted.
I like this for a Lounge game. Pictures of toy bunnies doing a scene from a film. Like Charades! Who’s next?

I can’t stop laughing!
i’m glad to know you like it.
i’m expecting the next one, too. but, in the act-wait, i’d like to give another question:
the bunnies in 2 pics are the same one. however, there are something diffrent between them. would you tell me whta’s that?
Besides wearing clothes in one picture and not the other? lol
Ok. The hat? The ribbon on the hat is backward in the 1st pic. Bow at front on 2nd pic. I think!
their eyes. moving from city to city, she lost one eye several years ago. i tried to contact the manufacturer but, definately, failed.
so, i got a piece of carpet, making two eyes.
this is the original one, which you can see from the dressed bunny.
and this is carpet i used to make eyes of the naked. now i have a smilling bunny and, a smilling carpet ![]()
LOL
I like your smiling carpet. It looks like a cute worm. ![]()
Every Bunny has a story!
Now the carpet may represent a movie scene also. Back to Harry Potter. The Chamber of Secrets. The basilisk (Snake) had it’s eyes poked out by the Phoenix Fawkes.
I have an idea for a toy rabbit/ movie set up but I will need to borrow props from my young nephew. Stay tuned……………
Jersey and Lancy,
Why do I think you’ve never seen this website? It’s really funny.
While you’re working on bunny photos, check out this animation.![]()
ooo ooo I’ve seen it! I posted about it here once. Haven’t checked it for recent additions though – thanks!
