Your bunny has the classic markings of a Dutch bunny.  They are such cuties.

Wow your good thanks a bunch. I searched for hours for rabbit breed pictures but no sites had them. They should add a section on rabbit breeds here so people wanting to know what breed they have can find out.

There are actually a lot of breed sites out there. Luckily for you, you got one of the breeds that is easiest to identify! Most people don’t have it that easy

DIGXMEXNOW – This is off topic, but I just thought you would find it interesting that my rabbit and I are ALSO a Rachel and Frankie duo!

I have always wondered what Coney was, I think he looks like a netherland dwarf but what do you think?

irishsweetheart – your dutch is so pretty! I really love dutch buns, and have heard they have very good temperaments, is yours fairly mild mannered?

Medinaserpa – I think Coney looks like a Netherland Dwarf was his mom and a lionhead was his dad!!

I never found out what his parents were, and I bought him from pet-co, a lot of help they were. He does have that long super soft hair all the way around his head so I have wondered if he has some lion head in him. I love to rub the part of his neck behind his ears. It is so soft.

I love the Dutch rabbits! They are one of my favorite breeds.

Medinaserpa he does look like a netherland – what a cutie. He’s got those cute little ears that I just love so much in the netherlands.

Tichelibun – I saw that there was another Rachel, but it’s funny that your bun has the same name too! I named him Frankie because I wasn’t sure if he was a boy or a girl and thought it was a fairly androgynous name (Frank/Francesca).

Uh, I’d definitely say yours is a lionhead….Lionheads have short ears and cute small faces, same as netherlands, but of course they have the mane!

Coney looks like a lionhead but maybe not a pure lionhead but a mix instead. His “mane” isn’t as pronounced.

Oh yes she is mild mannered and very sweet. She’s happy being held, very easy to handle her. Thank you for the compliment.
