  Grooming Mordecai is very easy, but his brush wouldn’t work well on a long haired rabbit. I looked at some brushes and combs but am uncertain what’s good for a lionhead. What kinda comb or brush works well for your long haired rabbits? Any other grooming tips for a long haired rabbit?

  Do the plastic slicker brushes work? I’d be nervous about using the metal ones, looks like it’d be easy to hurt her, especially since I’m inexperienced with them.

  The slicker brushes don’t do anything on my lionheads. We use a metal comb and do it gently. This pulls out all the loose fur nice. We have a separate, smaller comb for their faces and Rocky’s beard.

  Bindi has very thick, longish wooly fur and I use a slicker for him. It’s a small puppy slicker. Doesn’t really take out mats, though, for mats I use a big comb with rotating teeth.
