My bunnies are both unaltered. They are male and female so I can’t put them together because my male tries to mount my female. They are both young and not old enough to be altered yet. There pens are just a few inches apart and I always see them interacting with eachother. When I let Baxter (buck) out he goes right over to Bella and she sticks her nose way out and closes her eyes and he kisses her all over her face. It’s so sweet to watch them. When he walks away you can tell she is disappointed and wants him to come back. He will roam around the room freely and every 5-10 minutes he goes back to her for more kisses.  Does this mean they are sort of bonding all ready?

I wouldn’t read too much into it. A male and female who are unfixed will be attracted to each other because of the desire to mate. After being fixed they won’t have that desire anymore and their reactions will be based more on personality, so things may change between them initially.

I agree with Elrohwen. It is similar to how a male unaltered rabbit will honk, circle their owner’s legs, and even spray their owners out of ‘love.’ All of these behaviours are usually hormone driven and stop after a neuter.
