Here are some pictures of Dotty that I took. Isn’t she adorable? =)
She was given to us from an acquaintance of my father’s. Not much information was given to us other than that she was just a baby when we got her.
We have had her for a little more than a year now. I took the pictures a few months after we took her in.

Any help in discovering her breed is greatly appreciated! =)
Maybe a Holland Lop but could be a Mini Lop – she’s cute.
Thanks Sarita. That narrows it down quite a bit. =)
I did some wiki search on both breeds, and judging from the pictures that I’ve found, Dotty seems to look pretty close to a Mini Lop. Some more input from users here would greatly help. =)
She’s gorgeous! I love her dark ears and little beauty mark! And eyeliner! Very pretty.
I agree with Sarita, could be Mini Lop or Holland Lop since both breeds are pretty similar, although Hollands tend to be smaller and have shorter ears. Most pet rabbits are some sort of mix anyways.
From her markings she may have had an English Spot somewhere in her ancestry, but the lop dominated for sure.
Very adorable. ![]()
Do you know her weight?
She looked like a “charlie marked” mini lop to me, or a holland x mini cross. (USA mini lop).
I love her beauty spot!
I weighed her yesterday, and she weighs about 4 lbs.
Thanks for all the helpful responses. =)
Her “beauty spot” is actually how we came up with her name Dotty. Her dot really stood out to us!
Here’s another picture of her.

She is such a little cutie! =]
Awwww….what a cutie!
I love the drawing in your signature!
She’s adorable
Completely precious whatever she is! ![]()
Definitely looks like a holland lop and at 4lbs that’s right on target, and she’s “charlie marked” (which happens when they get two copies of the spotting gene – they end up with extra white and less colored patches).
Definitely a cutie!

That’s very helpful. Thanks to you and everyone else in discovering her breed. =)

Thanks! The signature was a quick sketch created just for the use of this forum. I noticed many of you have such nice ones that I wanted one as well!
How much does she weigh? She looks like a holland to me.
I was just gonna say, your signature is gorgeous!!!!!
Dotty is adorable! She looks like a Holland or mini lop. Is that your daughter holding her in the last photo? Just wondering if she likes to be on her back like that b/c mine flips around any time I try to hold her like a baby.

The little girl in the picture is my youngest cousin. She loves animals, so I decided to take a picture of her holding Dotty. Dotty can be held in almost any position without a fight. Sometimes I feel like she’s a stuffed animal. She just stays still and let you brush her, dress her, cover her up, hold her without ever showing any discomfort. ![]()
She certainly looks absolutely adorable and she seems to have a lovely personality as well. The drawing is awesome.
I’m quite pleasantly surprised how many comments I’ve gotten on my signature. I might post some bunny artwork here in the future. =)
Perhaps there should be a forum section of people who make art, poems, and other work inspired by their bunny pets. Something like “Bunny Creations”?
Please do! I’m another fan of your signature.
You could create a thread like Bunny Creations in the Lounge.
Though I’d enjoy seeing members creations bunny related or not.
I’ve often thought an “arts and crafts” thread would be great to see. We did have something a looong time ago when people shared some if their artwork.
I actually do a lot of art, though most are not bunny related. If we have a section here for art though, I might be inspired to create some.
I don’t think another section specifically for artwork is necessary. You can post non-bunny related things in The Lounge section.
Could not resist … I would say our Cookie now has a twin…. (she might be a minilop..considering how similar they are XD)
