Hi, as the title suggests i was hoping someone could shed some light on what breed of rabbit our little buddy Ralph is. We got him from ‘Pets At Home’ and they have advised us that they only have mixed breed rabbits come into store. Obviously we know he is a lop but we are intrigued to know what other breed he is?

He is around 12 weeks old and weighs 1.4kg.

If anybody knows it would be much appreciated.
        Thanks in advance,
        Shell

Aw he is adorable! My first thought is that he may be a mix of a mini-lop and a harlequin rabbit. He has some of those trademark stripes. Yet his body is compact and looks about the same shape as my mini lop

Mini lop or mix of I believe the harlequin pattern is available in many breeds these days so isn’t always an indication of a harlequin breed rabbit

Thank you both for your replies. We can see both French and Mini lop in Ralph, his ears are quite big so that’s why we think there’s French lop in him. It’s such a shame they can’t tell us his actual breed at Pets At Home.

Thank you again for your replies.

                What a sweetie!
I assume you’re in the UK, so Im going with him being a dwarf lop (known as Mini Lop in the US).
