I brought Ralphie home about 2 months ago and was wondering what type of breed he is. He seems too small to be a mini rex and too big to be a Netherland Dwarf. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

There are so many rabbit breeds that are between small and medium, with many different distinguishing characteristics, not just size. Netherland dwarfs and mini rexes look and feel nothing alike, so I’m wondering why you came up with those two breeds? We you told he was a mix of the two breeds? We couldn’t possibly venture a guess without a photo (or two or three) :o)

              Definitely post some pics!

Bunny breeds are hard, because there are many around the same size that come in the same colors. Once they are mixed, it can be impossible to tell much of anything. I agree that nethies and mini rex are quite different in look and feel.
