What breed is my bunny?

Jojo is a very beautiful rabbit, he was listed as a dwarf where I had gotten him, but I already knew that was a load of bologne, he grew to about 5~6 pounds with a lot of muscle on him.

Everywhere I look I’ve compared him to other rabbit breeds, and I still don’t know what breed he is, he never fits into any of the categories lol.

His body type confuses me, because he can be both cylindrical and commercial.
He sure is some type of mixture of rabbits, I just wish I knew which ones ｡ﾟ･（>﹏<）･ﾟ｡

Tough to say with your boy, he looks a bit like a dwarf mix to me, and 5 pounds isn’t terribly big for a rabbit. There are false and true dwarfs, and of course mixing a dwarf with a larger rabbit can bring all sorts of size differences into play.

The shape of his head in the first pic reminds me a tiny bit of a rex, but not much else does Probably just a coincidence of whatever mix of breeds he is. He may only be mixed as far as his parents, but he could be a mixed breed of 4, 5, 6 or more generations, which would make it impossible to tell. Whatever he is, he sure is cute

He looks a bit like my Gail, in shape at least. She is a continental giant mixed with something smaller (much smaller based on how compact she is!)

I agree with Azerane, his head is a lot like a Rex’s! He is absolutely gorgeous! There was probably a Rex in his ancestors, and also a dwarf because my bunny has an arched back like yours, and she is a lionhead – dwarf cross . xxx

I see Havana in there. Shape of the head and ears, plus tubular body. They come in broken pattern too. Weight is 5-6.5 lbs. So maybe a Havana mix? That’s what I’m going with.

No idea but need to comment on what a gorgeous bunny he is! Such beautiful and unique markings and colours!

So many different ideas Bunnies are so generic compared to things like dog breeds which are much more easily ID’d. With rabbits the differences are so much more subtle (except in the few extreme cases of course).
