This is Ben! I used to think he was a mini rex rabbit because his fur is velvet soft and he’s dwarf sized but I think maybe his markings are more indicative of an english spot. Any ideas?

Ben doesn’t have Rex fur or the short, curly Rex whiskers. He is a Dwarf rabbit, and I’m not sure, but I don’t think English Spot rabbits come in a Dwarf variety. He may be a Dwarf mix.

He looks to be more of a mix. To me it seems a mini rex/netherland dwarf mix

Aww lovely!! I think he looks like a dwarf mix also or part polish breed perhaps?

The spotting pattern is common in many rabbit breeds. It’s called the English gene that is responsible for it. It can get confusing with colour/pattern genes!
The actual English Spot Breed is about 8lbs and not very common on the pet market. They also have a hare-like body structure.
